ORA Winter Downhill Series 2023

The 2023 Downhill Mountain Bike Racing in South East Queensland is going to be epic!

Our amazing series sponsors have contributed over $30,000 in prizes to support both the riders and the series. So, get ready to show off your skills and earn some amazing rewards. This year, every podium finisher will walk away with not just bragging rights, but also fantastic prizes including products, vouchers, and cash that will blow your mind! We would like to give a big shout-out to our sponsors, Kenny, Funn, and CST, for getting involved and supporting the action.

Both male and female riders in Elite and Under 19 categories will be competing fiercely for cash and prizes at each round. The overall series winners will receive huge cash prizes, thanks to Off The Brakes, Boomers Bike Park, and all the riders who enter and compete in the Elite and U19 categories. Remember, the more riders who enter, the higher the cash prize pool will be!

This year, U13's, U15's, and U17's have been taken care of with prizes from NS Dynamics, Just Ride Nerang, We The Riders, Chicks Who Ride, and Dirt Skills. This could possibly be the biggest prize pool ever offered for these categories! Expert and all the Masters categories will not be forgotten and will receive fantastic prizes too. So, get ready to race, have fun, and win big at the 2023 ORA Winter Downhill Mountain Bike Series in South East Queensland!

Tamrookum Creek Mountain Bike Park,

Located 1 hour and 30 minute drive from both Brisbane and Gold coast CBD, We are the last property on Tamrookum Creek Road.

Exit the Mt Lindsey Highway onto Tamrookum Creek Road and follow the road right to the end. The road will change from sealed to Dirt. WE ARE NOT Scenic Rim Adventure, Keep left at there sign.

PLEASE DRIVE WITH CARE AND RESPECT unfenced road cattle often are on the road and reduce your speed past the locals homes. We greatly appreciate your corporation. Tamrookum Creek Road, Tamrookum

License Required

Please note that you require an Auscycling Race Off-Road license as a minimum to be able to race. Prior to completing your entry, can you please entry your Entryboss Profile has the correct information in the following fields:

- Qualifying Run - For Group A Only will be run fastest to slowest based on the current ORA Winter DH Series Standings and then by entries
- Racing Run - Group A will be run slowest to fastest based on Qualifying run
- Racing Run - Group B will be run fastest to slowest based on ORA Winter DH Series Standings and then by entries

Protective Gear Requirements as per Auscycling Technical Regulations Mountain Bike Section 4

4.00.03 For all riders who are eligible to compete in U13, U15 and U17 categories, the following equipment is mandatory at all times while on track regardless of registered category:
• Full-finger gloves must be worn;
• Full length jersey – jersey must cover elbows at all times;
• Knee pads and elbow pads must be worn.

4.00.04 The use of the following for all competitors is strongly recommended:
• Neck brace expressly designed for off-road competition;
• Back and shoulder protection expressly designed for the purpose;
• Full finger gloves;
• Elbow protectors and/or long sleeve jersey to the wrist;
• Goggles expressly designed for the purpose.
