Note: New Junior Grade added. We are trialling adding a new grade - Junior grade will be for riders who are too strong for Novice. This was traditionally our E Grade. Juniors and Novice will run in the top loop only. E Grade will now be the full Casey Fields Circuit and be suitable for those rides who previously tried full laps but found D grade too strong. D Grade has now increased from 30 minutes to 35 minutes.

All riders will need a current AusCycling Australia Race Licence for Grades A, B, C, D, and E and either a Race or Lifestyle licence for the Novice grade event, which will be a race simulation for newer riders.

Women's racing

We are encouraging as many women as possible to race at our Casey Fields Criterium races. Women's only races will be held if we get 6 or more in each grade. If there are not enough women to make up a women's only race, you will be placed into the appropriate grade. If placed in a mixed grade, the first woman across the line will be awarded with prize money.

Grading

Riders are expected to self-grade via their EntryBoss registration, however final Grading will be at the discretion of the commissaire . Riders grades can change throughout the series based on results.
AusCycling Tech Regulations re roll-out/age-appropriate gearing restrictions are adhered to for all Junior riders.

Warm Up

Track will be open for warm up from 12noon till 12.25pm, prior to Novice and E grades commencing.
Warm up after this time will have to be done on the surrounding roads, not on the Criterium track.

Novice Racing

Novice Grade and E Grade will race on the small loop.A, B, C and D grades will use the entire course.

Presentations

Presentations will be held soon after the completion of each race.
