Entered & can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss' Scratching mechanism. Please note the scratching cut-off because non-attendance refunds after this time are at the discretion of the event organisers and may require a medical certificate.

Information

Welcome to Round 3 of the 2023 Cairns MTB club Downhill series,

Event Location - Event site located in the MTB park near black snake , Directions entry via JCU and follow signs to event site and parking

RACE TRACK - NATIONALS

All Riders must have proof of current 2023 Auscycling membership for insurance - Please show your Tidy HQ card to Officials on the day of the race at Race Plate collection /Pickup.

If no membership Minimum requirements Auscycling Day licence- tick the box in registration below

No on the day Registrations will be allowed.

All riders are required to have to following gear to race,

full Face helmet

full finger Gloves

Knee Pads

Extra gear is optional

RACE FORMAT

Racing is Saturday

Classic Format of 1 run against the clock

Riders are required to complete 1 race run on the Saturday of race day

There is self Shuttle Practice available on the weekend before the event ( Sunday)

Riders will be expected to complete double black grade trai

U13- (11-13)

U15 (13-14)

U17 (15-17)

Junior U19 (17-18)

Veterans (30-44)

Masters (45+)

Expert (19-29)

Elite 19+

Event Cancellations

• Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
• We will do our best to communicate our intentions early if the event is at risk of not proceeding.
