Information

Welcome to Round 3 of the 2020 Cairns club Enduro 2022, sponsored by DISCOVERY CYCLES

Stay after 2 for Presentations, drinks and random giveway prizes from DISCOVERY CYCLES

All riders are required to have to following gear to race, full Face helmet

full finger Gloves

Knee Pads

Extra gear is optional

Make sure you have enough water to last the race or plan to refill, any tools required to fix any mechanical's as other riders may not be around to offer assistance

RACE FORMAT

Riders will have 5 hours to complete full course all timed stages, EBIKE will have to complete 2 timed runs of the queen stage.

Start order is self seeding, so pick you spot, you can go straight after someone if you wish, there will be timing crew out on course but not at the start of every stage, don't leave big gaps or you might not make it back in time.

Stages can be do in any order.

Riders will be expected to complete blue, black, double black grade trails

U15 (13-114) - 4 stages

U17 (15-17) - 4 stages

Junior U19 (17-18) - 4 Stages

Veterans (30-44) - 4 Stages

Masters (45+) - 4 Stages

Expert (19-29) - 4 Stages

Elite 19+ - 4 Stages

open E-Bike - 5 Stages

Race Stages

Stage 1 - WORLDS-CLOONIES EBIKE DO THIS STAGE TWICE

Starting at the top of the World Cup/Crankworx downhill track, drop in ride all the top corners, once you get to the rock garden we will take the original 96 DH line, not the current rock garden line, (its been raked so you can see it) will also be bunted for race day, small bit of alien tree onto the spectator access track across the gravel pad back into the spectator access track, Into cloonies ride the full trail , we will NOT be racing the Chute the line around is the race line, and will also finish at the water tank, no need to race down the road or do kids track

Stage 2 SPECIAL STAGE WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THE DAY

Stage 3 SADDIES

Starting at same start as happies, do the top switchbacks, once hit the fast road keep going straight ahead to the left drop into SADDIES, ride down the trail taking the hard right into the exit of black marlin on the shuttle road across the other side into the short trail to Finish down in MP39

Stage 4 CUSS CUSS

Starting at top of cuss cuss do full trail down to club site, across the club site into MP39 do this track backwards to finish at the junction of dans trail and fire road

Event Cancellations

• Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
• We will do our best to communicate our intentions early if the event is at risk of not proceeding.
