Entered & can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss' Scratching mechanism. Please note the scratching cut-off because non-attendance refunds after this time are at the discretion of the event organisers and may require a medical certificate.

Event Location start/finish– Kuranda Downhill track on right hand side of highway

Self practice from 7am-11:45am

Plate collection 12pm-12:30pm

Riders Briefing 12:30pm

Racing from 1:00-230pm

Information

Welcome to Round 1 of the 2022 Cairns mtb club Downhill series,

All riders are required to have to following gear to race,

full Face helmet

full finger Gloves

Knee Pads

Extra gear is optional

RACE FORMAT

We are trying a new format for downhill racing for 2022 All practice will be shelf shuttled buy riders, so you are able to do as many practice runs as you like, so get your mates togther and car pool to get max runs in

Course will be ready for practice from 7am Saturday morning, and can practice from 8am-12pm

Then riders will collect timing number plates and start racing, there is a window of 1/half hours to complete your race run

Riders will be expected to complete double black grade trails

U13- (11-13)

U15 (13-14)

U17 (15-17)

Junior U19 (17-18)

Veterans (30-44)

Masters (45+) Expert (19-29)

Elite 19+

Event Cancellations

• Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
• We will do our best to communicate our intentions early if the event is at risk of not proceeding.
