Please Make sure you get your Number Plate at least 30 min prior to your event. This will then plate be your plate to use for the rest of the season

*the speeds are a guide to choosing your appropriate Grade. The average speeds are based on what you would average on a single track loop including both up and down segments. Note for longer ascending loops such as this event, you could minus 2kmph for each grade.
We strongly recommend that novice or beginner U15,U17&U19 Male or U27,U19 Females enter either D/E Grade Male or C/D Grade Female as the courses and distances for these grades are more suited to an novice /beginner rider.

If so, we have the perfect race for you!
The newly opened Wellington Dam Trail network has had nothing but rave reviews from cross country gurus and novices alike. They a mixture of fun endless flowing green graded descents and climbs, challenging blue and black trails on the steep slopes of the Collie River Valley finishing down by the rapids of the Collie River and adjacent to the world biggest Mural on the Dam Wall. This is a Race for everyone especially those seeking some new trails and adventure in an area beyond compare.
Those doing Wave 2 will be super happy with the endless berms and corners on the advanced green trails The Big Dipper and Lichen This. WE HAVE UPON REQUEST INCLUDED A D GRADE WOMENS CATERGORY TO ENCOURAGE NOVICE AND BEGINNER RIDERS.
Those doing Wave 1 will love the opportunity to be challenged on the advanced blue and black trails of Pippin Hot and Dam it.
UPON REQUEST WE HAVE INCLUDED C GRADE MEN AND B GRADE WOMEN IN WAVE 1 FOR THIS EVENT, as we are sure all will be able to manage the trails though WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRACTICING THESE TRAILS BEFORE THE RACE.
There will be an opportunity to practice on these trails anytime before the event including the morning of the event with Official Practice and Medic onsite from 1pm onwards.
Pick up of Number Plates will be available from 12.30 onwards at the Registration Tent Next to the Wellington Dam Kiosk and the (details below).

Easiest driving directions are to approach the event via Wellington Dam Rd turning off the Coalfields Hwy. This will help you avoid traffic controls at the bottom of the Dam wall if you drove in via Falcon Rd.
