Event Summary

Please note all entry is online - CUTOFF is at 10:00am on Sunday, so that we have time to print start lists etc before heading to the track.

This was marked down to be a traditional cross country race on a loop of around 5km, but with the recent wet weather, and the last race (a short course) having to be cancelled, we have changed this one to be a short course, on a loop of around 1km, with plenty of firetrap in it for passing. Perfect for beginners or those wanting to try racing for the first time but also fun and fast for experienced riders. Lap numbers determined on the day, dependent on category. Number plate pickup any time after 1:00pm, racing at 2pm for adult categories and U17s. Racing at 2:25 for U13, U11 and U9 riders.

Last time kids raced first, then adults, so this time it's the other way around, with a presentation for the series after both races are finished.

We recommend riders do a practice lap around the course between 1:00pm-2:00pm, before racing begins. The course is on private property so there will not be access until then.

There are categories for all ages, from beginners and young kids to experienced racers. $10 adults, $5 children.

To enter you will need a valid AusCycling Race Licence. Please see the links on our website at southernhighlandscc.com.au or go directly to Membership on the AusCycling website if you are not currently a member.

Note: U17s are turning 13-16 in 2022. U13s are turning 11-12 in 2022. U11s are turning 9-10 in 2022 and ride a modified course. Riders who are U11 and want to complete the adult course can enter U13s. U9s are turning anything up to 8 in 2022 and ride a modified course.
