Tour De Valley / Queensland TTT Championships

Hosted by Cyclesense=Excellence.

Early bird entries: until September 24th.
Course Details : https://www.tourdevalley.com.au/courses

Description:

Courses for the 2021 Tour de Valley have been modified due to landslide roadworks at the end of Currumbin Valley. Two sections have been reduced to single lanes and speed humps have been erected to control driver speed.

The traditional Short Course (36km) becomes a 27km circuit retaining most of the original course. The new course turn-around point – ‘Harvest Turn’ is located at the intersection of Braewood Drive, just past Boyd’s Bridge.

The traditional Long Course (72km) is now 54km, two laps of the new 27km circuit.

The Junior State Team Time Trial will remain on the original 18km course.

The following categories of the State Team Time Trial Championships will be conducted over 54km: Men’s Elite, Women’s Elite, MMAS 1-2, MMAS 3-4. All other categories (with the exception of Juniors) will be conducted over 27km.

We appreciate your understanding regarding circumstances beyond our control and look forward to delivering a great 10th edition of the event this year!

The Tour de Valley Festival of Time Trialing in the beautiful Currumbin Valley will feature some exciting individual and team options in 2021!

The 27km Solo Time Trial event will again see the winners crowned as King and Queen of de Valley across four categories for men and women. The 54km Solo Time Trial provides the ‘endurance’ kings and queens with their chance to take on the longest individual time trial event on the eastern coast of Australia.

There are plenty of options for the teams in 2021! The ever popular 54km and 27km Team Cycling Challenge returns with the unique handicapping system based on age and gender. After a successful debut in 2019, the QLD State Team Time Trial Championships will continue to be a key feature of the event. AusCycling QLD clubs and registered teams will be able to compete across a number of age divisions for men and women for their chance to be crowned State Champions!

The re-surfaced course which covers sections from the 2018 Commonwealth Games Time Trial, offers participants the opportunity to ride fast times on one of the best time trial courses in the country.

Sorry - no late entries for this event.
