Canberra Off Road Cycle club (CORC) is hosting come and try it sessions for girls and women (aged 12 years and up) to have a go at mountain biking. Come learn some new skills and meet others who like a bit of adventure.
It can be hard for girls and women to break into new adventure sports. Our all-female coaching crew know how to support you to have fun and participate at your own level.
For the girls, we can also help you if you want to take it further and put a team in the ACT Schools Mountain Bike Championship (Friday 27 August). It is great fun whether you just want to have a spin with friends or race hard! Most people just come out for a great day out and we want to see MORE girls out there.
To join in:
Make sure you have a mountain bike in good working order and a helmet.
Choose one session and register online (5 entry fee):
Sunday 20 June 10am or Sunday 18 July 10am
You will also need to register for the free 4-week Aus Cycling membership from https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial (to cover you for insurance)
Join one of our social rides. See the CORC Facebook page for details.
