Canberra Off Road Cycle club (CORC) is hosting some come and try it sessions for women and girls to learn skills in mountain biking. This aims to increase the numbers of women participating in mountain biking. The focus is on attracting new people to participate in mountain biking and to grow the skills and abilities of beginner female mountain bikers. We are particularly keen to see more girls participate in this years ACT Schools Mountain Bike Championship (Friday 27 August) so these sessions are designed to build skills well ahead of the event.
Prior to your first session you will also need to register for the free 4-week Aus Cycling membership from https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial
This project has been made possible with funding from a women’s participation grant from the ACT Government #WeAreCBR.
