This is round 1 of the 2021 CORC XC club season. There are 6 rounds planned for 2021. These are fun races open to riders of a wide range of abilities. These are also listed as a tier 3 event under Auscyclings national cup, for eligible categories. For XC racing some courses will be harder than others, and to make this clearer to everybody we have introduced a grading system. Easy, for the flatter, less technical trails (think Sparrow hill), medium for courses that have more climbing and technical features (think some of heartbreaker and little seymour) and hard for courses that are, how do we say this, just hard…
West Kowen, Sutton Road. Note that our normal carpark is rsomewhat estricted due to roadworks so we will open the gate to the right about 100m before the NSW state border sign for additional parking.
The course rating for this event is easy. A fast and fun old school course in the pines. The course will be the same as last years course, it's a great course that will eventualy be logged, so we are using it while we can! The course map can be seen here
Note that we are starting an hour earlier in summer
