How to race skills program #5 (Melbourne) - for Triathletes
How to race skills program (Melbourne riders #6)
Update 15 Jan. Current air quality forecast is acceptable. Session will be cancelled if AQI >150.
These sessions are open to all riders who have some intention of racing the TopBike Hanging Rock Handicap (Feb 22). You don't have to commit to this or any racing to join in. Brought to you by the expert team at Kilowatt Cycle Coaching, they will focus on safe group riding. Whether new to it or already racing, our coaches will tailor the sessions to suit the needs of all participants. Everyone will gain valuable experience and knowledge.
4 sessions are based in the Macedon area (but open to all) - Dec 1, Dec 15, Jan 12, Feb 2. 2 sessions are based in Melbourne - Jan 18, Feb 1. The first of these (Jan 18) is specifically aimed at triathletes who want to learn more about road racing. Other riders welcome if places available.
These sessions are about practising new skills in a safe and friendly environment. They will cover bunch riding, fast rolling turns, echelons, trying different race scenarios and tactics, and how to prepare.
Each session builds on the previous, but you are welcome to attend as many as you are able.
