The world’s very best cyclists are all set to light up the boards of Melbourne Arena on Saturday December 21.

An action packed day of track cycling will feature:

• The Austral Wheelrace Carnival (Juniors & Seniors)
• 2020 Australian Madison Championships for both Men and Women

New this year:

• All Senior Austral heats have been moved to the night session.
• The Junior Austral Finals have been moved to the night session.
• The Austral Crawl race offering an additional element of fun and entertainment
• Elimination race for all the Madison riders

Session Overview

Session 1 (Juniors & Seniors): racing from 11:30am
Session 2 (Senior Heats and All Austral Finals): racing from 6:00pm.

Session 1 tickets will be available at the venue. They will be just $10.
Session 2 tickets are now on sale via TICKETEK

Race Fees

• Seniors: $60.00
• U15/U17: $35.00
• U11/U13: $30.00

A credit card fee may also apply.

Any late entries accepted after the close time will attract a $10 late processing fee. However, please note that you must contact the race organiser to arrange a late entry. Please note, the race organiser may refuse a late entry.

Madison Teams

All riders wishing to submit a team for the Madison Championships are required to send your expression of interest to craig.eastwood@cycling.org.au

Media Accreditation

All media wishing to attend the Austral Wheelrace are required to apply for media accreditation.
Please forward applications to astrid.vanuden@cycling.org.au

Submitting an application for media accreditation does not guarantee approval, with all applicants to be notified prior to the event as to whether they have been successful.
