Woofa's Goat Race

Proudly presented by Seymour Broadford Cycling Club

Welcome to Woofa's Goat Race! Our toughest course!

With just over 700m of climbing this race is for the mountain goats!

Race Format: Handicap

Course: Highlands School/ Return

Distance: 59km

Registration & Parking: Burgess Signs, 82 Emily St, Seymour by 1.30pm

Start Time: Limit Group 2.00pm

Start Location: Start line at 55 Highlands Rd, Seymour

Details: A hilly course with 706m elevation

The out and back course drags up along Highlands Rd, over the Bluetop climb and continues to climb to the turn-around point at the Ghin Ghin Rd intersection. The course returns Back along Highlands Rd. All the climbing is out of the way by the 37km mark which make for a fast run back to the finish line at 30 Highlands Rd.

• Race numbers are to be pinned on the right hip

• At entry, please help the handicappers by selecting your normal club grade and providing a comment.
  Eg, Current form, riders of similar ability, accurate grading makes for better handicapping and great racing.
