• All women who race as a part of the Summer Spritz Series must race in the women's race at 8:30
• Women must turn up at 8-8:15 to receive custom race numbers allocated by Summer Spritz Staff.
• Women are welcome to continue racing post the Summer Spritz Series in the open grades (like normal)

FCC x CCC Series Info

Structure of Points awarded for each race in the series:
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 6 points
4th: 4 points
5th: 2 points
6th: & onwards 1 point
Marshalling: 1 point per duty
NB: Points do NOT transfer up or down grades with riders.
BONUS: 6 points if a rider races ALL 6 races. 3 points if a rider races 4 races.
NOTE: FCC and CCC Executive can withhold points for various reasons, such as incorrect grading, infractions, etc.

Race Numbers

For Open grades, Northern Combine race numbers will be used. If you do not have one, please add the additional item to your entry price and collect on the day Please mount your bike race number and also wear your jersey number.

Location

Start Riders will be given a briefing at the Eastern end of The Crossway, then turn left onto Link Drive to start the race.

Finish Finish line will be on Link Drive, just south of the Caffeinated AF Cafe.

Facilities

Caffeinated AF Cafe will be open for coffee, snacks and toilet facilities.

Open Grades

• Women can also enter open grades A-D should they chose to, and will race with the next lower open grade (e.g. Women's A rides with Open B, etc.).
• Women who race in an open grade are not eligible for the women’s series points or prizes, based on their performance in an open race.
• Free entry to open grades for women who have raced in the women’s series the same morning.

Volunteering

*** NEW RULES ***

Without any volunteers, Coburg Crits races would not be able to run.

• Coburg Members are required to sign up for a minimum of 1 volunteer shift to race.
• Anyone who signs up for 3 or more shifts receive free racing for the season.
• Volunteer shifts can also be performed by family members or friends.
• Only the roundabout and forklift crossing is included in this offer.
• Marshaling a race or loitering at the rego desk isn’t part of the duties list and will not count towards your free entries.

Race Day Reminders

• Toilet facilities are available
• You must have a valid AusCycling "Club" or "Race" level of membership or a free trial to race CCC crits. These can be purchased from AusCycling
• If driving, please do not park on the inside lane (anti-clockwise) of the course, nor on the outside lane (clockwise) within 25m of the finish .
• Cycling Victoria Red Light policy is enforced so please remember to bring a rear light.
