Members, non-members and first timers are welcome to join us for a morning of fun riding offering something for all ages and abilities.

All the trails are designated green and blue trails for novice through to intermediate level riders. There are some black snd double black tail options available at Honeymoon pool, especially for those doing shuttles.

Your entry fee includes a sausage sizzle and drink afterwards, 1pm at Wellington Dam.

All members will receive our brand new MTB jersey if you haven’t claimed yours yet!!

• 8.30am -handicapped cross country race around a 2km circuit on the lwer Boylans trail and Grizzly’s rollercoaster for faster riders(30-40minutes long) Everyone will have a chance to win as slower riders will be given a head start.

• 9.10am - handicapped cross country race for 7-14 year olds and beginner/novice riders around a 2km circuit on green trails (15-20 minutes long)

• 9.25am - Balance Bike race will be held for 4-6 year olds around a 200m loop.

• 9.30am - Social ride, Enduro & Free Shuttle rides will begin.

Everyone is welcome to join us for the Social Ride with optional Enduro segments and shuttles available, starting at the Wellington Dam Carpark Trailhead and riding to honeymoon pool where shuttles will be available. Those doing only Shuttles can go by car of the shuttle bus to the River Rd bridge near Honeymoon Pool.

For the Social Ride there are 12km, 25km and 40km options with riders broken up into 3-4 groups of 6-12 riders according to Speed so you don’t have to wait too long or feel like your holding everyone up. 😜👍.

All rides apart from those wishing to do shuttles straight away, will start from the loer trailhead on Pile Rd.

The 12km ride goes up the Boylan Trail and returns on the Grizzly trail.

The 25km ride goes up the Boylan Trail before connecting to the GOAT Trail and onto Cash Out to arrive at Honeymoon Pool.

From there you have the option to do Shuttles back up to the top or ride up Honeymoon is Over and the Watcher Trail.

After that you’ll return via the Grizzly trail

The 40km ride will be the same as the 25km ride with Wals Trail and the Lennard ciicuit added in.

• Shuttle Only option - Get a shuttle up to River Road and do all your riding downhill on the GOAT, CASH OUT, SEND IT and BREAKER BREAKER TRAILS. Shuttles will operate from 9am at the bottom of River Rd at Honeymoon Pool Bridge until 12:30pm

• 12:30pm - Last shuttle will leave bottom of River road. Everyone will be shuttled back up to Wellington Dam.

• 1pm - Sausage sizzle and drinks.

!! Prizes will be given out for the best STRAVA times and PB’s on the GOAT, CASH OUT trails as well as the winner of the XC race, will be announced at the end during our free BBQ and drinks !!

You can get a 4 week free trial. If you have a BMX license you are covered. A lifestyle membership for $11/mth. Off road racing membership for $20/mth or Full race license for $31/mth.

Please also join our club in the process but it is not compulsory.

Cost: $5 for the XCO handicap races $10 for the Social ride which includes 1 shuttle if desired bbq sausages and drink.
