The last time world famous 3-lap course was contested (just two weeks ago) it delivered a thrilling finish, with Tina Stenos narrowly edging out Dave O'Dwyer to take the win. Dave still collected valuable Aggregate points by holding on for second place. Unfortunately for Alan Green, he missed out on the podium that week. He’ll be keen to turn the tables this time around and take the fight to his rivals, Dave and Tina.
The battle at the top of the 2026 Aggregate leaderboard is heating up, with Dave holding a narrow lead over Tina and Alan, who may - or may not, still be tied by the time they line up for this weeks race. Not far behind, Eugene Czulij and Barry Campbell are breathing down the leaders' necks.
So, who will make the podium this week? Will one of the leading contenders claim the points, or could one of the roughies Gary Day, Mal Cole or Terrie Collie spring a surprise and shake up the standings?
And let's not forget the possibility of a dark horse emerging from the pack to grab the valuable points on offer and upset the eager leaders!
One thing is certain, the 3-lap course is set to deliver another cracking contest.
