Join the Geelong Surfcoast Cycling Club for a classic 45km Handicap featuring an out-and-back along Forest Road before taking on an additional 1½ laps of our picturesque circuit. With quiet country roads, rolling terrain and plenty of opportunities for tactics to come into play, this course rewards smart riding just as much as strong legs.
Whether you're chasing your first club race, returning after a break, or looking for a competitive hit-out against experienced riders, you'll find a friendly and supportive atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Handicap racing is one of the most enjoyable forms of cycling, where every group has a genuine opportunity to race for the win, making for exciting, unpredictable finishes.
Our races are conducted on open, quiet roads with experienced marshals and volunteers committed to providing a safe and enjoyable racing environment. At GSCC, we pride ourselves on being welcoming to riders of all abilities and experience levels.
After the race, stick around and enjoy everything our club has to offer. Relax in our fully equipped clubrooms with male and female change rooms, toilets, kitchen facilities and comfortable indoor spaces, while sharing stories from the day's racing over a coffee with fellow riders.
