Nundah Time Trial + Junior Super League - Sunday 24th May 2026

• Riders from all clubs invited to compete.

• This is round 1 of the 2026 Hamilton Wheelers Hero Series (Hamilton Hero Series flyer below).

• Following the Time Trial for seniors, there will be a Junior Super League event.

• TT Race Distances - Senior Grades - 20 laps (24km). U17 riders - 13 laps (AusCycling rules).

• U9, U11, U13, U15 Juniors must only enter the Junior Super League (details below).

• Registration - from 6.30am. First rider away at 7.15am. All riders start at 60 seconds intervals, in the order they register to enter (first entered is first away).

• Riders may chose to ride road bikes or TT bikes (UCI equipment rules apply).

• Electronic Timing - All riders will be required to afix a supplied electronic timing tag to their seat post and return it to the sign-on desk after the event.

• Haven't raced before? - you can get a 4 Week Trial membership from Auscycling. Please select, Hamilton Wheelers Cycling Club as your club to receive HWCC race entry discounts and eligibility to enter HWCC member-only events. You must still apply for a HWCC grading, before you will be allowed to race.

The Basics

Eligibility - Licence - When a rider enters to race, in addition to accepting all terms & conditions, they are certifying that they have a valid AusCycling Race licence for this type of event valid for the day of the event and that they are not suspended or disqualified by AusCycling from racing.

Eligibility - Grading - Riders must have an approved HWCC race grading. Riders who fail to have a HWCC grading or fail to submit a grading application when they enter this event will have their entry rejected - Click Here for details.  Provide a detailed explanation if you are applying to enter a different grade and check the start list before your race. HWCC Handicappers' decisions are final.

AusCycling 'Lifestyle' licence holders - Riders may also compete in this event, but not as competition - they ride only for a recorded time.

Bikes/Drafting - Unlike criteriums and road races, time trial bars or time trial bikes are allowed in this event. However drafting behind other riders is strictly prohibited.

Entries - Entries close 7pm on the day before the event.

Course - The course is the Nundah Criterium Circuit (1.2km), Hedley Ave Nundah.

Juniors - U15 and under must enter the Junior Super League (not senior races).

Prizes - Cash prizes awarded proportional to entry numbers.

Junior Super League for U9, U11, U13, U15 (Free Entry) - from 9.30am

Event 1 ITT - 30 sec intervals. Full course. Junior A - 3 laps, Junior B - 2 Laps, Junior C - 1 Lap.
Event 2 Crit race – commence immediately after ITT. Junior A - 10min + 1 lap - full course, Junior B - 7min + 1 lap - short Course, Junior C - 5 min + 1 lap short course.
Elimination - Short Course - Junior A - every second lap, Junior B - every lap, Junior C- every lap.
