2026 Northwave NSW/ACT Junior Road Series

The Newcastle Hunter Cycle Club is proud to host the 2026 Glencore Hunter Junior Tour. This is the 3rd round of the NSW/ACT Northwave State Junior Series.

Riders (U13 - U17) will be able to collect points throughout the rounds which will total up to determine an overall winner after 5 rounds of competitive racing!

Location

The event will be held at the at the Hunter Economic Zone, off Leggetts Drive, Kurri Kurri This year the event will have a new event centre located approximately 3.3km from the Leggetts Drive turn off. All events will run on the same HEZ short course used by the Newcastle Hunter Cycle Club.

A coffee cart will be available on site along with a sausage sizzle will also be available This event is proudly sponsored by Glencore.

Accommodation & Camping

Due to ongoing anti-social activities in the evenings at HEZ, camping on site is not recommended and there will be no toilet facilities available in the evenings. There are numerous accommodation options in the Hunter region including caravan parks and paid campsites in the region:

Any rider who wishes to receive a refund more than 7 days prior to the event may do so by withdrawing by scratching themselves via their EntryBoss account. Any rider seeking a refund must submit a doctor's certificate to AusCycling. All refund requests should be sent to nsw.info@auscycling.org.au. Refunds will be processed in line with the AusCycling Refund Policy
