Additional to the prizemoney boost at each Lakeside race in 2026, there will be a $50 McCarthy Homes prize for the 'most competitive rider' in each grade over the series (to be awarded at the final Lakeside event on 5th December 2026).

Yes - this is a reverse direction race with a hilltop finish.
Entry limits - all Lakeside races now have a max entry of 60 riders per grade - enter early to avoid missing out.

Haven't raced before? - you can get a 4 Week Trial membership from Auscycling. Please select, Hamilton Wheelers Cycling Club as your club to receive HWCC race entry discounts and eligibility to enter HWCC member-only events. You must still apply for a HWCC grading, before you will be allowed to race.
Eligibility - It is the rider's responsibility to ensure they have an AusCycling licence valid for racing on race day, before entering the event. Riders must not race without a valid race licence.
Eligibility - Grading - Senior riders must have an approved HWCC race grading to enter. Click Here to apply for a grading. Provide a detailed explanation with results if you are applying to enter a different grade and check the start list before your race. HWCC Handicappers' decisions are final. Entries from riders who do not possess a HWCC race grading, will be automatically scratched.
Entries - Entries close 7pm on Friday evening.
Course - The course is at the Lakeside Park Circuit (2.4km), Lakeside Park Road, Kurwongbah.
Registration - From 6.00am - closes 10 minutes before race starts. You will be required to sign a Lakeside management disclaimer at race sign-on.
Prizes - Cash prizes awarded proportional to entry numbers. HWCC pays generous cash prizes for the top 3 podium places and Prime winners in all senior races. HWCC Women's race policy and prizemoney applies in all HWCC events (see General HWCC race info below).
