The Wagga Wagga Cycling Club is proud to present the Wagga Wagga Summer Criterium Series! This series is a revitalised version of our Thirsty Thursday Series. Following on from the success of the series in its previous format and the disappointment following the cancellation of the Golden Wheel, we hope to provide six rounds of great racing for both riders and spectators alike.

Riders from U15’s and above are welcome to enter. Your $10 entry fee comes with a free drink post the completion of your event. Each category will be awarded prize money as follows thank you to all our sponsors who have made this event possible:

$200 for 1st

$100 for 2nd

$50 for 3rd

Venue

The race is being held on the Pomingarlana Multisport Cycling Complex Criterium Track, with the start and finish located at the top of the course. Race times are as follows:

4pm: D Grade

4:35pm: C Grade

5:15pm: B Grade

6:05pm: A Grade

No warming up will be permitted on the course while racing is in progress. Sign on and presentation will be located at the club rooms near the velodrome. Sign on will open at approximately 3:30pm and close at 5:45pm.

From the carpark it is approximately a 100m uphill walk to the club rooms and another 200m to the start line. Toilets and change rooms are available and located at the club rooms.

Event

4pm: Kidsons Cycles D Grade 20mins +2 laps

4:35 pm: Dr Neil Pinto C Grade 30mins +2 laps

5:15 pm: Bush and Campbell Accountants B Grade 35min +2 laps

6:05pm: Ashmont Inn Hotel A Grade 45min +2 laps
