About the Race:

There’s nothing quite like the purity of a time trial - especially when is 'age based'. Just you, your bike, and the clock. No wheels to follow, no tactics to hide behind, every pedal stroke is yours alone, a true test of strength, focus, and grit. It’s where you measure yourself not against others, but against your own limits, chasing that perfect ride from start to finish. Whether you’re hunting a personal best, testing your form, or simply looking for a new challenge, a time trial delivers the ultimate sense of achievement AND it's where your age is taken into consideration which might just give you the edge on your younger rivals. Pin on a number, roll down the to the start line and see just how fast you can really go. You may just surprise yourself and gain 'bragging right" for the day.

Races are conducted at Paraparap, Victoria.

• GSCC conducts road racing events in the beautiful hinterland of Geelong’s Surfcoast region at Paraparap.

• The GSCC Club house is situated on Grassdale Rd, on the corner with Hunts Rd, it is just off Hendy Main Rd.

Race Details:

• Masters SuperVets racing. Open to all AusCycling members male 60 years of age or older and female 50 years of age or older

• Course: Start at clubrooms

• 9.30am sign in at Clubrooms, 10am race start

• Course and distance to be confirmed by SuperVets coordinator via email prior to each Wednesday's race.

• Enter early, no late or walk up entries on the day

Races are conducted on open public roads & GSCC holds the necessary permits for this event.

The safety of Riders, Officials & the general public is our priority, please observe the following instructions :-

*Keep to the left at all times, to minimise the impact to other road users

*Obey Road Rules at all times

*Follow the directions of race officials

*In the sprint, maintain a straight line, and keep both your hands on the bars before, during and after the sprint

*Have a working tail light

*Attend the pre race briefing

While every endeavour has been to provide riders with a safe riding environment, we cannot predict the unexpected - cycle racing can be a dangerous sport.
