Event Information

Event Location: Muldoon Reserve, Spring Gully, Bendigo

Date: 7th September 2025

Entry fee: $30

Registration and Start Times: Registration will open at 8am. The first race will begin at 9.15am. A detailed schedule is outlined below.

Race plates If you raced the Castlemaine round of the series you will be required to use the same plate. Registration is still required!

Parking Parking is available on Wattle Drive and along Retreat Road. STRICTLY NO PARKING ON SHAKESPEAR STREET

Coffee Van will be in attendance from 8am

BBQ The Bendigo Mountain Bike Club junior squad- 2Wheel Academy will have a BBQ fundraiser

Refunds You may withdraw/scratch before the entries close and receive a refund; otherwise, no refund will be given.

Photography Photos / images video footage will be taken at this event, please reach out to the club if there are any issues

Round seven of Victorian Schools MTB series will be run on the Spring Gully mountain bike trails. There will be two courses running at the same time, with a combination of single track and fire road to accommodate different age groups and capabilities. This event will be a dirt crit where riders can do as many laps as they are able in the allocated time for their age group. Riders are expected to race on a roadworthy bike.

The following event categories will be conducted during all State Series rounds and recognised accordingly in the series points.

Individual courses will determine actual race distance

Riders can choose to enter either one of two categories in their chosen age category:

• Novice category is suitable for a rider who is new to MTB racing or has limited experience racing before.
• Racing category is suitable for a rider who is experienced and raced at either Club, State or National levels.
