About

Races are conducted at Paraparap, Victoria.

• Masters racing, Open to all AusCycling members male and female over 30 years of age

• Course: Start at clubrooms, top of Nobles Rd to turn around at Layards Rd loop, back to Nobles 3/2/1 times, (finish Nobles Rd) - 22/34/46 km

• Course loop shows 2 times to Layards 33.7km - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53424475

• 8.30am sign in at Clubrooms, 9am race start

• All members please take care of each other out on the roads.

• Provide your AusCycling license number and expected racing grade

• No late or walk up entries.

• $15 entry fee for GSCC members
  
• $20 entry fee for visitors. (Non GSCC members)
  
• Transponders NOT required for this event

Start at clubrooms, to top of Nobles Rd then to Layards Rd turn around. All finishes at top of Nobles Rd. Number of loops dependent on Grades. See below and remember all finishes is at the top of Nobles Rd.

Safety Briefing

Races are conducted on open public roads & GSCC holds the necessary permits for this event.

The safety of Riders, Officials & the general public is our priority, please observe the following instructions :-

• Keep to the left at all times, to minimise the impact to other road users

• Obey Road Rules at all times

• Follow the directions of race officials

• In the sprint, maintain a straight line, and keep both your hands on the bars before, during and after the sprint

• Have a working tail light

While every endeavour has been to provide riders with a safe riding environment, we cannot predict the unexpected - cycle racing can be a dangerous sport.

Our cycling club races on the lands of the Wadawurrung people and we wish to acknowledge them as traditional owners. We would also like to pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities.
