Blackburn Cycling Club: Winter Criterium Racing at Casey Fields, will be held the third Saturday of the month throughout the winter season at Casey Fields Criterium circuit.
Casey Fields is a fully closed cycling facility which gives us the opportunity to run Criterium racing for all levels in safety. Riders from all Clubs welcome. Food and drinks will be available on the day for riders and spectators.

Race Entry

• $10 entry (D, E and Novice grades)

• $20 entry (A to C grades)

• Please enter by Midnight the day prior to the event via EntryBoss.

• Riders will need to register on the day at times as listed below.

• Please bring your licence.

• Race numbers will be provided at rego

Race Details

All riders will need a current cycling Australia Race Licence for Grades A, B, C and D, E and either a Race or Ride licence for the Novice grade event, which will be a race simulation for newer riders.

Grading

Riders are expected to self-grade via their EntryBoss registration, however final Grading will be at the discretion of the commissaire . Riders grades can change throughout the series based on results.
CA Tech Regulations re roll-out/age-appropriate gearing restrictions are adhered to for all Junior riders.

Warm Up

Track will be open for warm up from 12noon till 12.35pm, prior to Novice and D and E grades commencing.

Novice Racing

Novice Grade will race on the small loop while the D Grade race on the back big loop. A.B and C grades will use the entire course.

Presentations

Presentations for Novice and D grades will be at approximately 1:20 PM following these races
Presentations for C grade will be approximately 2:00PM Presentations for A and B grades will be at approximately 3:10 PM following these races
