If the race is cancelled due to weather, all online entries will be refunded.

To support families with junior riders, CCCC also offers the following:
Juniors under 19 years ride for FREE and race for the podium – no prize money
(Junior categories are calculated from date of birth, using Cycling Australia membership categories)

Gradings

All entries are provisional until reviewed by the race director and/or handicapper. If you are unsure of which grade to enter, pick which you think is the best, and put some notes in your entry for the handicapper to review. Entry Boss will track your previous entries and grades raced, handicappers will review on or before race day.

No U11 riders allowed. U13 riders that are competent and experienced are to have a mentor rider with them at ALL times and enter in E Grade. Please contact the race committee to confirm details and make sure you have organised a mentor rider.

E Grade is for juniors, new riders, and those seniors who are trying out racing for the first time, or wish to have race over a shorter distance. There are NO prizes in E grade, it's a transitional grade only.

Distances

Grade Distance
ALL Grades 100kms (4 laps)

NEW for 2019! Rollout is neutral from Jones Rd.

This means, you MUST be lined up in Jones Rd (on the left hand side, it is still an open road) ready to race 5 minutes before your race start time. All riders are to stay in grade groups for instructions from the commissaire. The neutral rollout is from Jones Rd, down to the Darkinjung Rd u-turn (stay WITHIN the lane of traffic cones), and back up to the start line which is directly opposite the sign on area. The race STARTS when the lead rider in you group crosses the start line, any attacks before the line and you may be disqualified from the race.

Race Circuit is 25km. All grades do 2 laps except D grade (1.5 laps), E Grade (1 lap). Race Map on Strava segment showing the full 50km.

Abide by ALL road rules during the race, when warming up and down, or riding to and from the course. Under NO circumstances should you be riding on the shoulder in the opposite direction to traffic. This is a strict condition of our racing licence and will be heavily enforced.

For more information and all race rules please see this link to Race Rules

Volunteers

Seeking volunteers for the event. Each event requires a marshal at the Calga turn, also help with sign on desk and finish line duties such as video, placings and watching for centre line deviations in the sprint! Again, contact the committee to nominate for a job.

Special Mention - Registered Kit

All riders are required to wear CNSW registered kit.
If you are new to your club and waiting on delivery of club kit, a plain white jersey can be worn.
