The Victorian Omnium Championship is a single competition consisting of four events which shall be held on one day in the following order:
Please note, the Tempo Ronde is point-a-lap for the 1st across the line after 5 laps race.
Distances for the other events are:
1) Scratch Race (5km) JM19, EliteM: 10km (40 laps) MMAS1-3: 6.25km (25 laps) MMAS4+: 5km (20 laps) JW19, EliteW: 5km (20 laps) WMAS: 5km (20 laps)
2) Tempo Ronde (5km) (1 point per lap for 1st across the line after 5 laps)
3) Elimination Race (at 2 laps per normal)
4) Points Race: JM19, EliteM: 20km (80 laps) / 8 sprints MMAS1-3: 15k (60 laps) / 6 sprints MMAS4+: 10km (40 laps) / 4 sprints JW19, EliteW: 10km (40 laps) / 4 sprints WMAS: 7.5km (30 laps) / 3 sprints
We're aligning the events according to the new UCI format. There will be no timed events (Kilo/IP) and only 4 mass start events conducted in one day.
Category Medals will be recognised based on overall results placing for ELITEM, JM19 and MMAS.
