Three stage race series 15th, 22nd & 29th June. Categories for each grade - General Classification, Sprint Champion, Q/KOM Champion.
Masters racing, Open to all AusCycling members male and female over 30 years of age
The Series will be run under Aus Cycling and UCI regulations. Your bicycle and equipment must comply with UCI regulations 1.3.007 to 1.3.033 in Chapter III – Equipment of the UCI regulations – Part 1 – General Organisation of Cycling as a sport.
Riders must comply with all road rules applicable to the State of Victoria.
Riders must not cross the white lines in the centre of the road at any time.
Dropped riders must not draft behind any other grades racing on the road.
Riders must complete each stage to be eligible to start the next stage.
Riders are not allowed to receive outside assistance in the event of a puncture or mechanical failure whilst racing.
Besides lead and follow cars, spare vehicles will not be provided.
If a rider suffers from a mechanical mishap that prevents them finishing the stage, will be given consideration by officials to start the next stage
Withdrawing from a stage without a valid reason will be recorded as a DNF and will not be permitted to start the next stage.
Riders will be responsible for any personal supporters following the race.
Riders should report all injuries to a corner Marshall who will advise the First Aid personnel accordingly.
A rider must not draft behind any vehicles at any time before, during or after a race. This is illegal and will result in instant disqualification.
A rider may incur time penalties for any infringement of the road rules, dangerous riding or unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Riders must complete all stages to be eligible for overall prizes/awards.
Riders must have a red light operating on the seat post or right rear stay of their bike. The light must be operational during the entire (all 3 races) and be visible from 200m to the rear.
If weather should impact a race and force a cancellation, winners will be determined by the completed races and times and points accrued by riders.
Transponders will be required by riders and must be attached to the front forks of bicycle.
GC prize money will be paid to the top five riders in each grade when grades have 15 or more riders. For any grade with less than 15 riders, only the top 3 riders will receive prize money

Races are conducted on open public roads & GSCC holds the necessary permits for this event.

Keep to the left at all times, to minimise the impact to other road users
Obey Road Rules at all times
Follow the directions of race officials
In the sprint, maintain a straight line, and keep both your hands on the bars before, during and after the sprint
Have a working tail light
While every endeavour has been to provide riders with a safe riding environment, we cannot predict the unexpected - cycle racing can be a dangerous sport.
Our cycling club races on the lands of the Wadawurrung people and we wish to acknowledge them as traditional owners. We would also like to pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities.
