SCUM's Flow Cross (Flow X) events consist of 4 timed race stages, with non-timed liaison sections in between. This is a super relaxed style of racing where you can blast along the timed stages which are 800 – 1000m in length and predominately downhill - and then cruise and chat to your mates as you ride to the next timed stage. Racing goes for 2 hours in which you need to successfully complete a timed run for all 4 stages. After 2 hours no further runs can be commenced. The rider in each category with the fastest overall time across 4 stages is the winner for that category.

Flow X events are suitable for all levels of rider. If you are taking your first step into MTB racing our Flow X events are a great way to get started due to their very ‘chilled’ nature. Please note the entry categories are the same as those for XC events, including an U11's category (refer to categories below).

*Age limitation: Your age is calculated as being the age you will be on the 31 Dec of the current calendar year. For example, if you are turning 15 before 31 Dec, but are currently 14 years old you will race in the Under 17 Category all year. You cannot race in the Under 15 category, as you will be 15 on the 31 Dec.

Juniors (under 19 years): $5.00

Seniors (19 years and over): $20.00

A race license will be required (see licensing details below); don't have a license? You can take advantage of the free 4 week trial or purchase a day license.

Already entered and now can't make it?
Please use the Scratching function in EntryBoss for an automated refund. Please be certain to keep on eye on the scratching cut-off.

Licensing

AusCycling Racing Membership is required.

• You must have your current membership card with you at the event, or an email or paperwork confirming your membership.
• If you haven't raced before, a 4 week trial is available from AusCycling: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial
• Day licenses are $44.00 each (both for senior adult & junior). Day licenses are available from AusCycling https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/event-licences
• Please note the club operates a strict "no license, no race" policy.

For overseas riders, an international UCI License will be accepted.
