This Program is designed to boost skills, performance, and confidence, combining solid training with practical racing experience for a well-rounded development.
Each term (set) will be a 10-week block
Monday (6:00 – 7:00 PM): Open to Club Riders in U13 category to Open ages
1 session/week: $60 per person, per term
Whether you're looking to sharpen your cycling skills, boost your fitness, or just have a blast with an amazing group, this program is for you and aims to provide athlete focused cycling training and racing opportunities, prioritising FUN, FRIENDSHIPS, SKILLS, PARTICIPATION, INCLUSION and ULTIMATELY EXCELLENCE.
In each term our focus will be on building aerobic endurance, riding in groups and bike handling skills. We will be continuing to practice these skills in each term and we will introduce sessions designed to improve speed on the bike and to teach riders how to improve their sprinting. Some specific skills that we will work on will include one handed riding, cornering, and track stands.
• Term 2: Monday 28 April to Monday 30 June
• Term 3: Monday 14 July to Monday 22 September
• Term 4: Monday 6 October to Monday 15 December
Cost is $60 per rider, per term
If you are unable to make a session unfortunately this is a block booked event and you will not receive a refund
In the event of inclement weather coaching staff may cancelled the training session however will offer addition sessions within the term. i.e. change a session to a Wednesday night.
Note: Training may be cancelled if conditions are hazardous due to wet tarmac, lighting failure, recalcitrant wildlife or other unforeseen circumstances.
