C Grade will be a team's race (details below).

The Junior Super League for U9, U11, U13, U15 juniors will be held straight after the senior races (Free Entry).

Senior riders who do not possess a HWCC race grading, will be automatically scratched.

The Basics

Eligibility - Licence - When a rider enters to race, in addition to accepting all terms & conditions, they are certifying that they have a valid AusCycling Race licence for this type of event valid for the day of the event and that they are not suspended or disqualified by AusCycling from racing.

Eligibility - Grading - Riders must have an approved HWCC race grading. Riders who fail to have a HWCC grading or fail to submit a grading application when they enter this event will have their entry rejected - Click Here for details.  Provide a detailed explanation if you are applying to enter a different grade and check the start list before your race. HWCC Handicappers' decisions are final.

C Grade - Team's Race - Team's Race Rules - The C Grade race will be a Team's Race. 4 or 5 riders will be selected pre-race by club officials, into teams of roughly the same ability. The winning and prime winning team will be determined by when the 3rd rider of a team crosses the finish line. Prizemoney will be distributed to the winning team and the prime winning team only.

Entries - Entries close 7pm on the day before the event.

Course - The course is the Nundah Criterium Circuit (1.2km), Hedley Ave Nundah.

Juniors - U15 Juniors must enter the Junior Super League (not senior races).

Registration/Start times - Closes 10 minutes before each grade's start times.

Prizes - Cash prizes awarded proportional to entry numbers. HWCC pays generous cash prizes for the top 3 podium places and Prime winners in all senior races. HWCC Women's race policy and prizemoney applies in all HWCC events (see General HWCC race info below).

Junior Super League for U9, U11, U13, U15 (Free Entry) - from 10.25am

Event 1 ITT - 30 sec intervals. Full course. Junior A - 3 laps, Junior B - 2 Laps, Junior C - 1 Lap.
Event 2 Crit race – commence immediately after ITT. Junior A - 10min + 1 lap - full course, Junior B - 7min + 1 lap - short Course, Junior C - 5 min + 1 lap short course.
Elimination - Short Course - Junior A - every second lap, Junior B - every lap, Junior C- every lap.
