Woongoolba Time Trial - Sat 5th April 2025

Riders from all clubs invited to come and race, however due to the Sunshine Coast Women's Tour running concurrently, female entries are not permitted for U17 and older riders

All HWCC senior grades A, B, C and D, & M&N (Masters and Novices) - 23km (one lap)

U15 and U17 Grades - 14.4km (same course as the AusCycling Junior Tour).

Electronic Timing - All riders will be required to afix a supplied electronic timing tag to their seat post and return it to the sign-on desk after the event.

AusCycling 'Lifestyle' licence holders may also compete in this event, but not as competition - they ride only for a recorded time.

Bikes/Drafting - Unlike criteriums and road races, time trial bars or time trial bikes are allowed in this event. Note that drafting behind other riders is strictly prohibited and you may be disqualified or penalised if this is observed

Prizes are awarded to the first 3 riders in each grade, and also to the fastest 'road bike' in each grade (bikes without TT bars). Please add 'Road Bike' in the comments if you wish to be eligible

The Basics

Eligibility - Licence - When a rider enters to race, in addition to accepting all terms & conditions, they are certifying that they have a valid AusCycling Race licence for this type of event valid for the day of the event and that they are not suspended or disqualified by AusCycling from racing.

Eligibility - Grading - Riders must have an approved HWCC race grading. For this event only, female riders are not permitted entry, due to the Sunshine Coast Women's tour running on the same day. Riders who fail to have a HWCC grading or fail to submit a grading application when they enter this event will have their entry rejected - Click Here for grading info.  Provide a detailed explanation if you are applying to enter a different grade and check the start list before your race. HWCC Handicappers' decisions are final.

Entries - Entries close 7pm on the day before the event.

Juniors - As this event is conducted on open road, the event is restricted to only juniors who possess a HWCC senior grading (U15 and U17 only). This means they must have been endorsed by Hamilton officials to compete in senior grades

Registration - From 6.00am. First rider away is at 7.00am.

All riders start at 30 seconds intervals in the order they register irrespective of grade (First entered is first away). First rider away at 7am. Registration open from 6am
