VICS MTB - You Yangs

The third round of the VICS MTB series will be held at the Stockyards MTB Area at the You Yangs. This can be accessed from Drysdale Road, Little River. Registration for this event will open at 8:15am, with the first race expected to start at 9:30am. Hosted by the Geelong MTB Club, this event will use four courses. The Village loop will be used to run the J9 grades.
The U11-U13 will use the Short course and U15 - U19 Novice categories will use the long course. U15-U19 Racing categories will compete on an advanced course that will offer considerably more challenging tracks/features. All courses consist of a wide start and finish area, and single track though the forested areas of the you Yangs.
The car park is a short walk from the racing start area. The event village will be located in the carpark, with Cycling Victoria providing registration, St Johns Ambulance and portable toilets. The Lions Club will have a BBQ and refreshments available. Coffee will be provided by City to Surf Coffee.
Please remember to collect all your rubbish. Volunteers and support will be provided by the Geelong MTB Club. Make sure you enter at least two events to be eligible to win the division championship.
