Event Update:
This event is now full, as are the Waitlists.
Apologies to anyone who has missed out.
Hopefully we see you at our next Series we're currently planning for 2025!!!.
Australia's first and only fully dedicated youth Downhill Series, which is now recognized by AusCycling as the official Victorian Junior State Series!!!
By providing a true pathway into state and national level competition, as well as providing a lower barrier of entry to new racers, the 'Rookie Cup' is designed to capture the ever-growing, new wave of up-and-coming downhill talent and give them the foundation to take on the sport of downhill headfirst!

Please note: you MUST be a current AusCycling (AC) member to race at the Rookie Cup, to ensure you are insured during the event*. Your AC Membership must be either Race Off Road or All Discipline, and the membership number must be used when entering the event. 4 Week Trial and Lifestyle memberships cannot be used to race.
*please see Race Off Road Membership | AusCycling | AusCycling for more info.
To support the riding community and allow more riders to participate, we have kept our entry fees the same as 2023.
Regular Entry: $150 per event/no season pass
Scratching: Can't make it & would like to withdraw?
You can withdraw your entry & trigger your own automated refund by scratching. Keep an eye on the organiser's scratching cut-off, because refunds are self-serve up until that time. After that cut-off, refunds are at the discretion of the organiser.
There is a capacity constraint on our events, which may mean you receive a message to say you have been ‘waitlisted’ at entry.
Waitlisting basically means you are waiting to see whether another entrant scratches and a spot becomes available.
If a spot does become available and you are given a start, you will appear on the startlist and receive an email to advise your status has changed.
If you do not get to participate in the event, you will receive a full refund.
If you no longer want to be on the waitlist, you can take yourself off & trigger your own refund by Scratching through the EntryBoss system.
