*2024 Age Group Championships, open to GSCC Members Only

*Course: Start at clubrooms, out & back Forest Road, right into Grays Road, then laps & finish Larcombes "A" - 34, 45 or 57Kms

*8.30am sign in at Clubrooms, 9am race start

*All members please take care of each other out on the roads.

*No late or walk up entries.

• Free Entry for All GSCC members

• Medallions to be presented following John Windsor Handicap on Sunday 15th December 2024 (no cash prizes for this free event)

• Transponders NOT required for this event

Grades & Race Durations

Age Groups	Duration	Laps
Male 30-54	57km	Forest + 2 laps
Male 55-69	45km	Forest + 1 lap
Female 30-49	45km	Forest + 1 lap
Male 70+	34km	Forest + no laps
Female 50+	34km	Forest + no laps

Note :

• Age Groups are separated into 5 year blocks ie 30/34, 35/39, etc.
• Age Groups will complete specified number of complete traditional circuit laps.

Safety Briefing

Races are conducted on open public roads & GSCC holds the necessary permits for this event.

The safety of Riders, Officials & the general public is our priority, please observe the following instructions :-

*Keep to the left at all times, to minimise the impact to other road users

*Obey Road Rules at all times

*Follow the directions of race officials

*In the sprint, maintain a straight line, and keep both your hands on the bars before, during and after the sprint

*Have a working tail light

While every endeavour has been to provide riders with a safe riding environment, we cannot predict the unexpected - cycle racing can be a dangerous sport.

Our cycling club races on the lands of the Wadawurrung people and we wish to acknowledge them as traditional owners. We would also like to pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities.
