This event is part of the Jack Griffin Memorial Trophy race, and provides our SuperVet members with an opportunity to compete half the main course and in so doing celebrate the 40th Edition of the event.
The club has named the shortened race the "Budgie Cup" . WHY ? - By definition - Budgerigars are small, colourful parrots that are native to Australia and popular as pets around the world which fits Jack to a T.
So its the Budgie Cup with a Small Trophy and a small distance.
