SCUM Enduro (Endurance) Events are marathon style events on a set loop course over a fixed time period (usually 3 or 5 hours). The length of the loop is usually between 6 to 7½ km’s but can be up to 11km depending on the trail used and how long the over event is. There is no limit to the number of laps that can be completed, the only limit is the fitness / stamina and endurance of the rider/s. Both Solo riders and Team options are available, with varying age based categories as set out below. In order to receive a 'result' a rider (or team) must complete at least one lap of the course, otherwise they will receive a 'did not finish (DNF)' result.

*Age limitation: Your age is calculated as being the age you will be on the 31 Dec of the current calendar year. For example, if you are turning 15 before 31 Dec, but are currently 14 years old you will race in the Under 17 Category all year. You cannot race in the Under 15 category, as you will be 15 on the 31 Dec.

Juniors (under 19 years): $5.00

Seniors (19 years and over): $15.00

A race license will be required (see licensing details below); don't have a license? You can take advantage of the free 4 week trial or purchase a day license.

Licensing

AusCycling Racing Membership is required.

• You must have your current membership card with you at the event, or an email or paperwork confirming your membership.
• If you haven't raced before, a 4 week trial is available here from AusCycling: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial
• Day licenses are $30.00 each (both for senior adult & junior). Day licenses are available from AusCycling https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/event-licences
• Please note the club operates a strict "no license, no race" policy.

For overseas riders, an international UCI License will be accepted.
