After a succesful event last year we are back for ACT XCC / XCO championships at Majura. New for this year is that we are putting on on a XCC championship event on Saturday afternoon. The event will be run out of Innabaanya Scout camp which is a great event base. Onsite camping is allowed, at a flat rate of $15 per head per night. Interstate riders are welcome
We have set an XCO style course at Majura that sits somewhere between a club race and a national level round. If you are a club rider used to the CORC club races, this event is for you! The course has as a little more climbing and technical sections than our normal club races but there are no big features.
For the more advanced riders, you will get plenty of opportunity to test those all important climbing legs and have some fun on the way down.
Note: This page serves as the technical guide for the event. Additional information may be added after you enter, please check back in.
@coloradocoffee_aus will be on site for all your coffee needs!
The course is similar to last years course with some tweaks due to the new start location. This course has a bit of everything , the highlight is a long sweet descent, but you have to earn in with some climbing. There are just enough technical sections to reward riders with skills and efficiency, but no big features. We've made sure to add in some fast sections where you can get some rest, and plenty of overtaking opportunities too. The start will be at Innabaanya (event centre) More details here
U13 will race 3 laps of a shortened course (2.4km lap length), more details here
