About

If you are interested in giving Cyclocross a try, want to learn some new skills from a dedicated CX coach, or just want to race, this is for you. A low key, fun CX event, with bonus coaching session from the Australian National CX coach. We will have good times, we will have encouragement, we will have coaches, we will have racing too if you want it.

For those without an Auscycling Offroad Race licence (or All Discipline Race licence) please choose the Come & Try category.

Scratching Policy

Self-service scratching includes an automated refund. Scratching closes at the same time as entries. Use the SCRATCH button on the race entry page to scratch.

Details

• Please follow all Covid-19 distancing protocols, there will be signage indicating how to collect your number.
• Come and Try riders are welcome to join Auscycling on the day and can then participate in races with an appropriate licence
• Juniors may also ride the Come and Try session. This gives everyone a chance to ride with their whole family
• Competitors MUST attend the race briefing prior to the start of any race they are competing in
• Relay teams are to be self organised. If you want to enter, but don't have enough for a team, please contact the club, and we will keep track of numbers and put together additional teams if needed.
• Prizes will be entirely up to the race director's discretion. This event is primarily about FUN and ENCOURAGEMENT. Adhoc handicaps may be implemented
• Junior crit series racing is on immediately preceding this event, as such the crit track WILL BE CLOSED. You may ride the CX course prior to the coaching session but you MUST NOT enter the crit circuit. Only cross the course if it is safe to do so and no racers will be impeded.
• There will be multiple ability levels on the circuit at the one time. All riders are expected to pass safely, politely, with plenty of room and to encourage all other riders.
• Note: Racing may be cancelled if conditions are hazardous due to wet tarmac, recalcitrant wildlife or other unforeseen circumstances. Entrants can expect a refund of race fees in the event of race cancellation.

• You must hold a current Auscycling Offroad Race licence to compete in the Team Relay or Qualifier/Finals races
