Social Ride

Start Location & Time:
The FVMTBC will be hosting the CRAVEMTB EPIC SOCIAL RIDE-15/25/40/50&90km at Pile Rd, on Monday 26th September, for FREE, leaving from the bottom Carpark at 09.00am.

On Sunday there are 15/25/40/50 &90 km options following the CRAVE MTB Challenge Courses to be now held on Saturday November 26, 2022.

This presents a great chance to get to know the courses, that have all been freshly trimmed and blown.

Riders are broken up into 3-6 groups of 6-15riders according to Speed so you don’t have to wait too long or feel like your holding everyone up. 😜👍. ( NOTE when entering the distances offered are different due to a current inability to change them, so when you choose ; 15km= 15km 😁, 30km =25km/40km/50km and 50km=90km)🤪

On the Monday we ride the Boylan Up trail, followed by the log park and Grizzly trail for the 15 km riders. Others will continue onto the extensions trail and then connect to the full Lennard trail in reverse for the 25km loop.Riders going further continue onto Wal’s trail, Buthers reverse, Pallet and down the 3km Millbrook descent to the River.

The 90km riders will split away from the 40/50km rides making there way East across the other side of the River to do the 35km Wellington Dam loop before coming back to the same point.

The 40km/50km and 90km riders head downstream next the Collie River with some amazing views before heading up Sailors Gulley- a3km ascent. 40km riders head back to Grizzly trail at the top

while 50km/90km riders are in for a cruise to the near top of Mt Lennard and descend down the 4WD track dubbed “sketchy AF “ on 28% gradient for 1km, followed by some small challenging climbs and descents by the River before riding back up Sailors Gully again and back home down the new faster flowing Grizzly trail.

There’s drinks and food to be enjoyed back at the Wild Bull Brewery across the road from where we start and finish.
