Event Description.

Last run in 2018, the ACT XCO Championship is finally back! We have set an XCO style course at Majura that sits somewhere between a club race and a national level round. Interstate riders are welcome!

If you are a club rider used to the CORC club races, this event is for you! The course has as a little more climbing and technical sections than our normal club races but there are no big features.

For the more advanced riders, you will get plenty of opportunity to test those all important climbing legs and have some fun on the way down.

Course

Minor update!!! After Boy Wonder the course will now go up on the fireroad and rejoin Larry at the last switchback. We needed to make this change to allow more overtaking opportunities. Course map has not been updated.

Setting a course is a challenge in this weather, but the below map is the current plan. You can also see the course here If it remains wet, we may cut out some sections

U13 will race 2 laps of a shortened course (2.7km lap length)

Age Categories are as per the new national series / national cup regulations for the 2022/2023 season. It is the rider age on 31 December 2023 that determines your age bracket.

EBIKE categories are restricted to riders in U19 age brackets and above
