About

SCUM's Flow Cross (Flow X) events are staged Cross Country events however, rather than having a set number of laps to complete there are between 3 & 4 timed stages, with non-timed liaison sections in between. This is super relaxed, you can blast along the timed sections then cruise and chat to your mates on the way back to the next timed section. There is a cut-off point (the course is closed) where no further 'runs' can be commenced.

Flow X events are particularly suitable to new riders, although anyone can attend. Please check the entry categories below as the EntryBoss system categories differ slightly to the traditional SCUM categories... if you cannot enter a category that you want please add a comment when you enter and we will correct it for you. For Flow X events there is no specific Novice rider category.

*Age limitation: Your age is calculated as being the age you will be on the 31 Dec of the current calendar year. For example, if you are turning 15 before 31 Dec, but are currently 14 years old you will race in the Under 17 Category all year. You cannot race in the Under 15 category, as you will be 15 on the 31 Dec. You can however choose to race in a higher category.

Race Fees

Juniors (under 19 years): $5.00

Seniors (19 years and over): $15.00

A race license will be required (see licensing details below); don't have a license? You can take advantage of the free 4 week trial or purchase a day license.

Please use the Scratching function in EntryBoss for an automated refund. Please be certain to keep on eye on the scratching cut-off date / time.

Licensing

AusCycling Racing Membership is required.

• You must have your current membership card with you at the event, or an email or paperwork confirming your membership.
• If you haven't raced before, a 4 week trial is available here from AusCycling: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial
• Day licenses are $30.00 each (both for senior adult & junior). Day licenses are available from AusCycling https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/event-licences
• Please note the club operates a strict "no license, no race" policy.

For overseas riders, an international UCI License will be accepted.
