About

The 100km State Championships will be held for the categories Elite and Masters Men and Women.

For the second time the Casterton Road Circuit Race also forms part of the 2022 TAC Victorian Road Series, which includes the KOM Financial Advice Masters Series, offering three separate races for the following categories: Elite Men, Women and Masters Men.

Race categories: Elite Men, Open Women, Masters Men
Entry fees: $65
Entries close: Midnight on Monday, 18 April, 2022
Location: Casterton
Start Times: From 10am

Team riders: All riders racing as a member of an event team (min. 3 - max. 5 riders per team/category) must indicate this at time of registration or they may be listed as individuals.

  • Teams (except NRS teams) must be registered before entries close or the riders will be listed as individuals.

Eligibility

All participants are required to hold a valid AusCycling Race All Discipline membership

Please note temporary/trial memberships cannot be accepted as they cover riders for club events only.

76th Wal Smith Memorial Casterton 50

  • Please select one of the following OPEN grades when entering: A+, A, B, C, D, E. Please note: The selection of a grade merely serves as additional information for the handicapper.
  • Please provide as much information as possible to assist the handicapper (recent race results incl. club grade, power data, similar riders etc.).
  • Please note that the final number and size of groups will depend on number and depth of entries.

2022 AusCycling Elite and Open Masters 100km State Championships - Victoria

  • Offered VRS categories (open to individuals and teams*): Elite Men A, Women A, Masters Men A
    *Teams must be registered before entries close or the riders will be listed as individuals.
  • This event is open to riders from lower VRS categories! Series points will only be awarded to A grade riders.

Scratching/refunds Riders wishing to scratch and get a refund from the event can do by logging into their Entryboss account using the scratch button. A medical certificate within 7 days of the event will be required for refunds after entries have closed.

A refund may be granted for other reasons at the discretion of AusCycling.

Late entries may be accepted on a case by case and will incur a late entry fee of up to 25% of the standard entry fees.

IMPORTANT: After a successful entry the rider will automatically be given the status provisionally entered. This is normal and means the entry has officially been registered. The status won’t change until grading and membership have been confirmed by an AusCycling staff member.

The status ‘doubtful’ or ‘waitlisted’ generally means the event category has reached it’s capacity and a rider has been moved to a waitlist.
