ENTRY PRICES

Online pricing:

  • All Senior grades $21.00 (Entry includes a card processing fee, $10 race entry fee and a $10 circuit usage fee which goes to the circuit managers)

All riders must fill in a 'Lakeside Licence' form. To save time you can download this from the Hamilton Website and complete in advance, or we have plenty of paper forms available on the day. Please allow extra time to complete this step before collecting your race number.

SCHEDULE

All grades start 6:30am sharp. We HAVE to be off the track and the infield by 7.45 am

B-Grade (incl. A/B Women) 6:30 (50 minutes, plus 2 laps)
C/D Women 6:30 (30 minutes, plus 2 laps)
A-Grade 6:30 (60 minutes, plus 2 laps)
C-Grade 6:30 (40 minutes, plus 2 laps)
D-Grade 6:30 (30 minutes, plus 2 laps)

A seperate womens A/B race may be conducted if there are enough entries

EVENT DETAILS

Points Awarded for 1st to 4th places, primes (1st over the line only) and, where applicable, first and second unplaced females across the line.

Prize Money No individual prize money will be awarded. Riders get a podium pic and glory only. Prize money is split between the two clubs as a percentage of the points won by each team (e.g., if the outcome was UQCC: 400 points, HWCC: 400 points, both clubs would take 50% of the prize money).

Race entries - Entries from each club will be capped at 30 (i.e. 60 entries maximum per grade). Entries will only be accepted from riders with a current grading with Hamilton Wheelers or agreement with Uni CC handicappers. Check the grading lists on the Hamilton website to confirm

Gradings UNI RIDERS IF YOU DON'T HAVE A HAMILTON GRADING PLEASE ENTER EARLY TO ALLOW TIME FOR BOTH CLUBS TO CHECK GRADINGS

Rollout - All Juniors U19s and lower, no matter what grade they are racing in, must get their gearing rollout checked on the footpath near the clubhouse steps BEFORE picking up their race number

Licences - all riders should have their licences available for checking. Please have your digital licence ready or printed email ready to show

Registration - closes 10 minutes before race start. Riders who miss the compulsory commissaire's briefing will not be allowed to start and entry will be refunded

Format - all races are kermesse style on a long closed circuit running between 30 and 60 mins with a bell on the final lap (no 2 laps to go board). There will be a prime for each grade.

Wet-weather Policy - A decision to cancel due to poor weather will only made out at the course by the Chief Commissaire with announcements made via website and facebook (unless it's absolutely certain weather would make it impossible to race)


COVID-19 POLICY

This event will be conducted using the guidelines established by Queensland Government, the AIS, AusCycling Australia and AusCycling Queensland.

Please expect delays at registration as we enforce the following:

Masks - must be worn if entering the clubhouse, and at all times when you cannot socially distance. We would ask riders to wear masks at all times when not riding.

Race Numbers - after racing, place them in the sterilising bucket provided do not return them to registration

Sanitiser - please use the hand sanitiser provided

Hygiene - Please be respectful of other by socially distancing. No air hankeys/snotrockets, spitting etc!

Instructions - abide by all the instructions provided online, via signage and by volunteers and officials. Please note the track infield will be out-of-bounds due to a car event setting up after our event

Don't come - If you have any symptoms, have been asked to self-quarantine or isolate, are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, have travelled overseas or through a hotspot within 14 days
