Event Overview

The main event of the Tathra MTB festival, the Tathra Beach and Bike 5 hour. Come and enjoy the best trails at Tathra for this lap based XC race. Attack it solo if 5 hours on your bike is your idea of fun or with friends as a relay race. The event hub with food trucks and facilities will be the Tathra Country club. The lap is going to be a punchy short loop, all bang for your buck!

• Categories:
• Solo (Men, Women, Single Speed and E-bike) We will use Auscycling age categories, based on entries will we combine categories with less than 5 riders. If less than 5 riders in Single speed and/or E-bike no prizes will be awarded.
• Pairs (Male, Female, Mixed, Single Speed and E-bike). Pairs riding the race relay style. Single speed needs both riders to be on single speed bikes, if less than 5 teams in the category no prizes will be award. E-bike only requires one rider to be on an E-bike, if less than 5 teams in the category no prizes will be awarded.

• Teams (Male, Female, Mixed, Single Speed, E-Bike). Teams of 4 riding the race relay style. Teams of 3 can join but you will be riding against teams of 4. Mixed is any combination of men and women. Single speed needs all riders to be on single speed bikes, if less than 5 teams in the category no prizes will be award. E-bike only requires one rider to be on an E-bike, if less than 5 teams in the category no prizes will be awarded.

• Price (via entryboss):

• Solo: Adults $90 under 18 $50.

• Pairs: Adults (19 and over) $75 each, Juniors (under 19) $40 each. (Adults and Juniors can pair up)

• Teams: Adults (19 and over) $75 each, Juniors (under 19) $40 each. (Adults and Juniors can team up)

• Late Entries (+$10 per rider late fee)

• Limited numbers of on the day Late entries available - best to register by Fri 10th June !!! On the day entries will be CASH (really money) only at the Country Club on Sat 11th 11:30-3:30. You will need to bring proof of appropriate Auscycling membership https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership. The club reserves the right to NOT offer on the day entries without notice.

• Refunds: Scratching (full refund) up to Tue 7th June at midnight 2022. After that no refund. If the event is cancelled due to weather or COVID refunds or transfer of entries to alternative date will be provided.

Auscycling Licensing Required - 4 week trial, event licence, off road race or race all discipline (lifestyle NOT suitable).
