About NSW/ACT State Series Cyclocross Racing

Round 2 of the 2022 AusCycling NSW-ACT CX series is taking place at Sun Valley in the Blue Mountains, hosted by Western Sydney Mountain Bike Club.

Bikes and Tyres

If you've not entered a cyclocross event before, C Grade/Open may be for you - any bike is welcome, though we recommend a MTB, cyclocross or gravel bike.

For B Grade, any bike is welcome, however MTBs or flat bar bikes will be started in a separate wave, and will not be eligible for overall series points. CX or Gravel bikes are recommended, with 35mm tyres preferred in the spirit of CX, but wider tyres will be accepted.

For A Grade, must be CX or Gravel Bikes with a 35mm maximum for tyres strictly enforced.

Please support the the Sun Vally Pony Club as they will be running a canteen selling hot food along with drinks and snacks. Please note cash only.

Registration

Registration is ONLINE ONLY and you must have a valid AusCycling or One Day Event Licence. One Day Event Licences are available to be purchased at the time of registration through EntryBoss. 20min Kids race (under 13) (any Bike)	11:00am
15min Kids Participation event on a short course (Balance bikes through to U10) - Mini Track. Will be open all day for the kids to ride around.	11.30am

Race 2 - Men's B grade (40 minutes)	12:00pm
