About

After several unsuccessful attempts to run last year’s Track Championships due to bushfires and COVID-19, we are now on target to run the 2021 AusCycling Track Championships – ACT. This event will be run as an Omnium over two days.

The Junior Omnium will consist of four events:

• Flying 200
• Scratch Race
• Keirin
• Time Trial

All other categories will consist of six events with the two additional events being:

• Points Race
• Elimination Race

The events will run from 9.30am, with the track open for warm-ups from 8.30am.

Scratch Race		Masters, Elite, U19, U17 & U15
Keirin		Masters, Elite, U19, U17 & U15
Pursuit		AWD
Sunday 7th Feb
Track Open	08.30	Warmup
Flying 200	09.30	Juniors
Scratch Race		Juniors
Time Trial		Masters, Elite, AWD, U19, U17 & U15, Juniors
Keirin		Juniors (The Junior Presentation will be held at the completion of the Junior Events)
Points Race		Masters, Elite, U19, U17 & U15
Elimination		Masters, Elite, U19, U17 & U15
Presentations

Masters riders wishing to contest the Elite category should make a note of it at registration.

Technical Regulations

The 2021 AusCycling Track Championships – ACT will be conducted as per AusCycling Technical Regulations for Track.

For those participants who are keen to represent the ACT at the Australian Championships (and I hope there are many of you) it is a pre-requisite for selection that athletes must compete in the AusCycling Track Championships - ACT.
