About

This is our favourite event to run every year!

We run it for many reasons:

We run it for our good friend Craig Baker and his family and the memory of their sister and daughter. We run it to keep our promise to Henk Vogels Snr and Southern Districts CC to keep the event going.

But most of all we run it to promote women's participation in the sport of cycling and to give top billing to the women at one major race on the calendar.

Again 2020 Chaotic Energy will be the presenting sponsor for Renae's Race. RCCC would like to thank Teneal Attard and the team from Chaotic Energy for again stepping up and financially supporting this event for the second year running.

​This years event is even more special as it will be the first year we have run it since the passing away of Henk Vogels Snr.

As a celebration of Henk's life and his contribution to the sport of women's cycling, we are adding The Henk Vogels Memorial Criterium to the Renae's Race program.

We are pleased to announce WA SportsMed Physiotherapy and Pirone Construction as the co-major sponsors of the Henk Vogels Snr Memorial Criterium with Telstra Store Wanneroo sponsoring Men's B grade.

• $25 + $5 transponder rental (unless BYO transponder )
• Online entry only, strictly no day entry
• Entries close Wednesday the 11th of March at midnight.

Other Race Day Info

• My Laps Timing Chips: You must have a MyLaps timing chip to participate. Hire of a timing chip is $5 per event. If you have your own timing chip please ensure this is recorded in your EntryBoss profile - you will not be able to untick the transponder hire option until you have a transponder recorded on your profile.

• Scratching: You can withdraw your entry with a self-serve, automated refund via EntryBoss if you are within the scratching cut-off time. Please return to the EntryBoss Race Listing and use the 'Scratch' button.

• No Licence, No Race: - riders need a current licence (or proof of renewal email) to race. Cycling Australia licences only. New racers need to purchase a one day temporary membership direct from Cycling Australia.
