About

Apple Crumble Supported by Knog, Pedla and Wondercross. Brunswick Cycling Club presents the Apple Crumble Gravel Crit, a fast, fun and distinctly local take on crit racing. Set among the apple trees at Petty’s Orchard, the course weaves through the orchard on gravel, delivering technical corners, sharp accelerations and close‑quarters racing. Each lap is approximately 850 metres, making it ideal for exciting, spectator‑friendly action. All bikes are welcome provided they are fitted with wide tyres and brakes are in good working order.

Whether you’re chasing results or just keen to race something a little different, Apple Crumble offers great racing in a unique setting and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Format

• Course Open for Practice – 12:30pm
• Men's D Grade – 1:00pm (25 min + 1 lap)
• Men's C Grade – 1:35pm (30 min + 1 lap)
• Junior Grade – 2:15pm (20 min)
• Women's A/B/C Grade – 2:45pm (A/B Grade, 40 min + 1 lap, C Grade 30 min + 1 lap)
• Men's A/B Grade – 3:35pm (40 min + 1 lap)

Licences

Brunswick Cycling Club welcomes any first time riders to come along and try racing. All riders require at least a temporary racing licence before participating. A free 4 week trial licence may be purchased from Auscycling. Grading

Brunswick Cycling Club events are inclusive. We aim to give all riders a safe race. This means grading will be dependent on ability level rather than age and you may be racing with someone much older or younger than you. We will begin with grading A through to D grade depending on numbers and we will make appropriate race formatting arrangements as required.

Race Numbers

We will have an electronic lap system, please bring your Northern Combine Numbers. If you don't have a Northern Combine race number please collect a temporary number from the registration desk.

Entries

If you have missed the cut-off please email us, we will endeavour to get you entered however will be subject to numbers of entries.

Pricing
Seniors $25 entry, BCC Member $20
Juniors (U/19 and younger) $15 entry, BCC Member $10
On the day entries add $5

• Pay for your first junior as normal
